Brightmere

An online role-playing game where a polearm fights like a polearm and a maul like a maul. One shared world, in your browser.

Why it is different

Weapons that behave like weapons

A polearm holds a foe at its point until it forces its way inside. A maul breaks a guard. A flail's ball swings out past the handle. A dagger does its work up close.

Magic with rules about the world

Fire burns the ground and dies in the rain. Frost leaves ice to slip on. Storm leaps through metal and standing water. A healer holds mending ground and has to keep it.

One world, shared

The same hour, the same weather and the same roving packs for everyone. Meet someone on the road, travel together, fight the same pack, or settle it with a duel.

Nothing to install

It plays in the browser on a phone or a computer, and can be added to your home screen. Your characters are kept on your account.

The studio

Two Fires Studio is a small independent studio in Georgia, USA. We build our games slowly and by hand, and we sell them plainly: nothing in them buys an advantage over another player.
